Acuity Fingerprint Solutions Inc. is a private British Columbia company providing electronic fingerprinting for lawful civil purposes — immigration, citizenship, employment, licensing, record suspension, travel and more.
Our role in the process
Acuity Fingerprint Solutions Inc. is an RCMP-accredited affiliate fingerprinting company. Electronic fingerprint transactions are securely submitted to CCRTIS through an RCMP-accredited Direct Connect agency.
Our part is the appointment itself: we verify your identity against your original documents, capture your fingerprints electronically on a Livescan device, review the image quality and prepare the transaction for submission. The RCMP's part is everything that follows — searching the fingerprints, deciding the outcome and releasing the result.
We are a private company — not a government office, police service, RCMP office, agency of the Government of Canada or Direct Connect agency — and we do not represent ourselves as one. Criminal record checks are issued by the RCMP, not by Acuity.
Three parties, three distinct roles
Understanding which organization is responsible for which step explains why we are accountable for a careful, correctly prepared appointment but not for the result or the time it takes to arrive.

- Transmission partner
RCMP-accredited Direct Connect agency
A separate, RCMP-accredited Direct Connect agency transmits the electronic fingerprint transaction to CCRTIS on our behalf. Acuity is not a Direct Connect agency: affiliates submit through a Direct Connect server rather than directly.
- Processing authority
RCMP (CCRTIS)
The RCMP searches the fingerprints, determines the outcome and releases the criminal record check result. Processing times and fee amounts are set by the RCMP, not by Acuity.
Note — These processing times apply only to the RCMP criminal-record-check component. They do not include mailing time or processing by IRCC, the Parole Board of Canada, a foreign government, an employer, a licensing body or another requesting organization.
Careful with your information
Privacy by design
We collect only what an appointment requires. Fingerprint images are never stored in this website, our booking system or any marketing platform.
Records kept separate
Fingerprinting records are maintained separately from our affiliated immigration practice, and fingerprinting clients are never added to immigration marketing lists.
A purpose-built office
Our Delta office is arranged with a private reception area for registration and a separate restricted work area where capture and secure handling take place.
Registered and locally operated
Serving Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Richmond and the surrounding Lower Mainland communities, with reception assistance in English, Punjabi, Hindi.
